Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave earns praise for a wildly unexpected opening

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave landed with a release that players call one of the series most surprising openings, propelled by a startling setup where a professional dancer hunts a revenge list while playing a cursed instrument. Early threads pick out a spoiled face reveal buried in the recruitables list and heated attention on the game’s starters, with several players confessing they are already fully absorbed and delaying other projects. Some players are comparing the game’s dungeon crawling and town exploration to Shadows of Valentia, noting an unexpected blend of old and newer Fire Emblem sensibilities.
