Caleb Williams carted off with non-contact leg injury

Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams suffered a noncontact leg injury while scrambling toward the pylon in Chicago and was carted to the locker room with a towel over his head. Head coach Ben Johnson said after the game that Williams was "in good spirits" and "we'll know a lot more tomorrow." Multiple posts identified the injury as a hamstring issue and the Bears listed Williams out for the game. Tyson Bagent replaced Williams on the field and was sent to the medical tent after the play that ended Williams's outing. Reporter Patrick Norton wrote that Williams later exited the locker room on his own without a noticeable limp, and other accounts said Williams gave a thumbs up as he was carted into the tunnel. Team officials have not provided a full medical diagnosis or timeline for return.

After the game, Bears HC Ben Johnson was asked for an update on the severity of the injury that sidelined quarterback Caleb Williams. Johnson said Williams was "in good spirits" and that the team would know more tomorrow. This fanbase's anxiety will be through the roof until an update comes down.
