Silent Hill: Townfall arrives this week for PS5 and PC

Silent Hill: Townfall released this week for PlayStation 5 and PC, and early streams have surfaced showing nearly three hours of gameplay. Creators and players are fixating on the game’s St Amelia setting and a municipal-style high-rise sequence reviewers praised as a slow-burn, Ballardian take on The Raid. Responses split over stealth: several players call the stealth clumsy and frustrating while others say the game frightened them and brought them to tears. Ahead of Halloween many are already preparing Townfall thumbnails and sharing photos of St Monans as inspiration for St Amelia, and streamers are scheduling launch playthroughs.
