You bet your ass I'm celebrating because it's a massive step in the right direction and something that we've been asking for, for YEARS. I only played a bit of red war and missed out on everything before Beyond Light and if Destiny has a future you bet your ass im excited.

Does it mean I completely forgive them? No. But I am at least paying attention and willing to see where this goes. If it means I can play old content again and there is def a chance to see more expansions D3 shit im down. Also marathon is fun. Both games deserve to grow together.

My thoughts on the Destiny 2 news. I've been VERY critical of Bungie's mismanagement, angry about the layoffs, sad to see a great game so compromised and frustrated by their community becoming so hostile. I really, REALLY hope this works out and they can turn it around. Rebuild what was lost.

Also it's galling that so many Bungie fans told me that even with 600+ staff, Bungie just didn't have the manpower to restore the cut content. It was too big of a task. Impossible. Totally unfiesable. And now after they lose like 80% of their people, they're doing it.

I'm both really happy for myself, selfishly, with the destiny 2 news, but I'm also still so disappointed that it had to happen this way. There's like 500 people that Bungie should rehire if they're going to actually make more Destiny.

Bungie bringing back all the vaulted content for D2 is absolutely fantastic news, there was some real good stuff in there that I never got to show friends and the Red War was a solid intro to the city and the vanguard for new players. More than that, just so glad to see them still doing Destiny.

I have a problem with Destiny 2. I started it with my son as complete n00bZ and ... We have no idea wth is going on! Yes we did get an initial cutscene that explains the setting, hut after that we are dropped in one hell of a GUI with no directions. We can start half a dozen things

As we shared in the video, we are beginning the work of bringing vaulted Destiny 2 campaigns, destinations, and raids back into the game, where they will be available to all Destiny 2 players.

Bringing this content back is not as simple as restoring old files. Changes made to Destiny 2 since Beyond Light require us to update lighting, encounters, combatants, and other underlying systems. That work will take time, but it is necessary to ensure returning content meets the stability and gameplay standards of Destiny 2 today.

Our team is very excited to deliver this for you all and as they progress, we will share more details coming in the months ahead.

Unfortunately this probably explains why Marathon is in such a bad state in terms of QoL. Lay off a bunch of Destiny people, shift everyone to Marathon, only to bring a couple back as Destiny 2 gets focus again (leaving a smaller team split to keep two games refreshed)
