Taylor Swift to premiere 'Patient Zero' video at the VMAs, Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell star

Taylor Swift will premiere the music video for "Patient Zero" during the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, Sept. 27, with a 13-second preview aired exclusively on CBS Mornings. The video stars Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell and was shot by Academy Award winner Emmanuel Lubezki. Swift announced the single earlier this week and said the song will be released Friday alongside a new deluxe edition of her latest album titled The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, which adds four new songs. At the VMAs Swift will receive the ceremony's first-ever Artist Director Honors, an award organizers say recognizes artists who expand music video storytelling; that honor guarantees she will become the show’s most-awarded artist, surpassing Beyoncé. The VMAs air on CBS stations and MTV at 7:30 p.m. Eastern, 4:30 p.m. Pacific, on Sunday and will stream on Paramount+.
