Taylor Swift released The Life Of A Showgirl: The Encore, an expanded reissue of her 12th album that adds four new songs titled "Patient Zero," "Cleveland!," "Pink Clouding," and "Babylon." The encore follows Swift's wedding at Madison Square Garden and her June contribution "I Knew It, I Knew You" to Toy Story 5, and continues an album rollout that set a modern sales record with 34 variants. Swift said she and collaborators Max and Shellback went to Sweden, found a studio, and wrote the new songs out of gratitude for the album's success. Swift teased "Patient Zero" by briefly changing her Instagram bio and announced it as a single; its music video stars Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell and will premiere at the VMAs on Sunday, September 27, where Swift will receive the Artist Director Honors. The Encore was announced on Wednesday, September 23, and Swift said the new edition is out on Friday and available to pre-order and save now.
