The Seattle Mariners beat the Los Angeles Angels 7-3 in the regular-season finale as Logan Gilbert struck out eight over four no-hit innings and Seattle pitchers combined for 12 strikeouts. The loss left the Angels with a 62-100 record, the first 100-loss season in franchise history and the end of a 10-game slide. Seattle took a 1-0 lead in the second when Weston Wilson drove in Cole Young, then added two runs in the third on a Cal Raleigh RBI single and a Josh Naylor groundout. Angels starter Yusei Kikuchi (1-7) allowed three runs on six hits in five innings with seven strikeouts. The Mariners pushed the lead to 6-1 in the sixth after an Angels throwing error and a two-run double by Randy Arozarena; Jose Siri hit a two-run homer for the Angels in the eighth. Eduard Bazardo (4-4) earned the win and Cooper Criswell closed the ninth; Gilbert left to a standing ovation after walking Moises Ballesteros to open the fifth.
