It actually gives you more incentive to buy physical. You get the quick start and portable convenience of digital, but you can still do everything you could do with discs. Sell it, borrow it, use it when the servers die if the whole game is on the disc.

Peter G1If you sell your disc after converting it to a digital copy, you lose access once someone else uses that disc online.
Tyler Steele1Also enables you to use a physical disc to activate the digital copy which works with game share and Xbox Play Anywhere. Was able to use converted games on my Xbox, my wife's Xbox, and my PC. Very excited about this feature. Makes buying physical even better for us since we can both still play.
