Actor Robert Kelker-Kelly died Saturday, Oct. 3, in St. Peters, Missouri, at age 62, the St. Peters Police Department confirmed to USA TODAY on Oct. 5. Officers responded to his home about 8:16 p.m. after a report of an unconscious man not breathing; CPR was in progress when officers arrived and additional lifesaving measures failed. Police said he had complained of chest pain shortly before becoming unresponsive, that nothing suspicious was found, and that the circumstances appeared consistent with a medical event; the medical examiner released his body to a local funeral home. Born April 18, 1964, in Wichita, Kansas, Kelker-Kelly first appeared on screen in 1987 as Sam Fowler on Another World. He joined Days of Our Lives in 1992 as Bo Brady after Peter Reckell left and played the role for nearly 600 episodes through 1995, later returning to Another World from 1996 to 1998 as Bobby Reno. Kelker-Kelly portrayed Stavros Cassadine on General Hospital in 2001 and made several brief returns, most recently in September 2014. In recent years he worked as a professional pilot in Missouri; his cause of death has not been publicly shared. Lisa Rinna wrote in her memoir that she and Kelker-Kelly had a tense real-life relationship, calling him verbally abusive and a bully on set.
