Early in-person voting has opened in multiple states, and Democratic strategists say turnout patterns in Georgia are a promising early sign. A new analysis finds early in-person voting among Black Georgians is up 33 percent versus the 2022 midterm, turnout among voters under 30 has jumped 54 percent, and turnout among young Black voters has risen about 80 percent. Those shifts have Democrats pointing to energized constituencies in the state after the first days of voting. Organizers and officials are urging supporters to make plans to vote early and are using the surge to guide where campaigns deploy resources over the remaining days before Election Day.
