Jared Moskowitz wins reelection in Florida's redrawn 25th District

politicsNov 3, 2026408,070

NBC News projects Democrat Rep. Jared Moskowitz defeated Republican Scott Singer to win re-election in Florida's redrawn 25th Congressional District. AP and other outlets also called Moskowitz the winner, saying he prevailed in a South Florida seat that state Republicans had redrawn this year to favor the GOP. Moskowitz will return to the U.S. House for another term, a result outlets framed as a setback to the GOP-led redistricting effort in Florida. Decision Desk HQ and major outlets called the race on election night, confirming Moskowitz’s victory over Singer.

When they gerrymandered they expected Hispanics to stay in the R fold. Seeing your neighbors and family deported to Equatorial Guinea no doubt changed some Minds.

Another Democratic seat from Trump’s Dummymander! 😂

Just to further clarify, this is one of four districts in Florida that DeSantis gerrymandered on orders from the Trump Regime to supposedly make it impossible for a Democrat to win.

They tried to Gerrymander Jared out- he won anyway!

First big HOUSE Result: Democratic Rep. Jared Moskowitz survives in #CD25. This is a district that the GOP just redrew this spring to flip it. Trump won it by 9%.

Second big HOUSE Result, and it's very similar: Democratic Rep. Kathy Castor has also prevailed in Florida. This was another district the GOP redrew. Trump won it by 11%.

That was the one seat I wouldn’t have minded losing.

They gerrymandered the shit out of this district to make it Moskowitz-proof and he still won.
