The New York Jets selected Indiana wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. with the No. 30 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, using a pick they acquired from the San Francisco 49ers. Cooper, a Lawrence North High School product and former Indiana standout, is a versatile pass-catcher WHO can work inside, create after the catch, and win contested throws in traffic. He joins a Jets group already bolstered by earlier first-round picks David Bailey at No. 2 and tight end Kenyon Sadiq at No. 16, giving New York three first-round selections in 2026. Cooper gives the Jets a dependable complementary target for Garrett Wilson and helps the offense layer 11 and 12 personnel packages with both inside and perimeter receiving options.
