Steelers select Penn State QB Drew Allar at No. 76

sportsApr 24, 202624322

The Pittsburgh Steelers used the 76th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft to select Penn State quarterback Drew Allar with their third-round choice. Pittsburgh acquired that third-round pick from the Dallas Cowboys as part of the George Pickens trade. Allar joins QB1 Will Howard, veteran Aaron Rodgers WHO has not committed to returning, and Mason Rudolph, whom the team is open to trading, adding depth to the quarterback room. The pick gives the Steelers a low-cost developmental quarterback and insurance for their QB plans while shaping potential trades and roster decisions this offseason.
