The Pittsburgh Steelers traded up with the Indianapolis Colts to select Alabama wide receiver Germie Bernard at No. 47 overall in Round 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft. Bernard measures 6-1 1/4 and 206 pounds, finished his Alabama career making several late-game catches, and Steelers offensive coordinator Brian Angelichio said Pittsburgh will use him both inside and outside and on kick returns. Bernard posted a 9.07 RAS, ranking 393rd of 4,196 receivers measured, and gives the Steelers a big-slot, short-area target who can contribute immediately to the passing game and special teams.
