Park‑Pagliuca Fund donates $10M to PolyBio Long COVID Cure Initiative

The Park-Pagliuca Fund donated $10 million to the PolyBio Long COVID Cure Initiative to accelerate diagnostics, biomarker validation, and creation of a national clinical trials network. The grant will expand PolyBio’s VIPER program to validate tests that detect and quantify SARS-CoV-2 persistence and immune dysregulation linked to post-acute sequelae. PolyBio will use the funding to build a diagnostics-guided, multicenter trials network that pairs validated biomarkers with targeted therapies so researchers can run faster, more precise trials. This matters because researchers have identified reproducible biological drivers of Long COVID but lack the diagnostic infrastructure and coordinated trial capacity needed to move treatments to patients.
