Munetaka Murakami launched a go-ahead three-run homer off Drew Pomeranz in the bottom of the seventh, a 382-foot, 95.8 mph blast that put the Chicago White Sox ahead 7, 5 over the Los Angeles Angels. That drive was Murakami's 12th home run of the season, the MLB lead. He earlier tied the game in the fourth with a 415-foot solo off Miles Mikolas, giving Murakami two homers that completed a late White Sox comeback and swung the game in Chicago's favor.
