Macklin Celebrini of the San Jose Sharks, Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers and Nikita Kucherov of the Tampa Bay Lightning were named finalists for the 2025-26 Ted Lindsay Award. Celebrini, 19, set a Sharks franchise record with 115 points this season, scoring 45 goals and 70 assists in 82 games and posting a point in 60 contests. McDavid has won the Ted Lindsay Award five times and Kucherov has won it twice, placing two established stars alongside Celebrini's breakout second NHL season. Because the award is voted on by NHL players, the finalists underscore Celebrini's rapid rise and the continuing peer-recognized excellence of McDavid and Kucherov.
