The NHL Players' Association named Macklin Celebrini, Nikita Kucherov and Connor McDavid as the three finalists for the 2025-26 Ted Lindsay Award. Celebrini, 19, finished fourth in the NHL with 115 points, posting 45 goals and 70 assists in 82 games, setting a San Jose Sharks franchise record and recording a point in 60 games. Connor McDavid has won the Ted Lindsay Award five times and Nikita Kucherov has won it twice, matching two established MVP-caliber veterans against a breakout young star.
