Evil Dead Burn trailer and poster debut, film opens July 10
Warner Bros released a red-band trailer and poster for Evil Dead Burn, directed by Sébastien Vaniček, and the film opens in theaters July 10. The trailer stages a bloody family reunion in a rural house that rapidly escalates into supernatural attacks and graphic practical gore. The poster underscores the family motif with stark blood-red title art and ominous domestic imagery. The July 10 release positions Evil Dead Burn as a summer horror tentpole that leans into the franchise's shock-heavy, effects-driven roots.
EVIL DEAD BURN. Watch the official trailer NOW. In theaters July 10, 2026. #EvilDeadBurn unleashes the franchise’s most savage and terrifying ride to date, blazing onto big screens with an all-new chapter of carnage and demonic mayhem.
Who places forks in the washing machine like that?
If it doesn't scare AND make me laugh then fuck this BS.
Man it pretty odd for a long running franchise to put A+ quality out especially over 40yrs in horror Evil Dead A+, Evil Dead 2 A+, Medevil Dead A+, Evil Dead 2010 A+, Ash v ED A+, ED Rise A+, & this looks pretty A+ to me already Also how has no one else responded with GROOVY?!
@brianimator.bsky.social an excellent birthday treat! 👹
#NW The Evil Dead (1981) 📽 dir. Sam Raimi 'Five friends travel to a cabin in the woods, where they unknowingly release flesh-possessing demons' Another comfort movie! I'll never forget the first time I watched this aged 10 at a friend's house. Scared the bejezzzus outa me! 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
When I saw this movie for the first time, I was terrified ! 😅
Saw this at the cinema when it was released and it blew me away. I've loved it ever since 🖤
That was the first horror movie I saw (back in USSR, in 1989). I got REALLY scared.
"I'm OK Now .." followed by a pencil in the leg. Sums up my domestic situation.
Classic! I also want to see more movies or series from this universe.
Saw the 1st “Evil Dead” during an all-night horrorthon that also included Pieces, Motel Hell and I Spit on Your Grave. Would never have guessed Evil Dead would take off like it did, but I became a fan of The Bruce that night. This book has a lotta great behind-the-scenes anecdotes:
Saw it during its first release and many times at midnight, thereafter.
This looks like a blast. Maybe it's heretical but I do not need my later Evil Dead movies to be funny, since no one is going to do Raimi justice in that capacity anyway. Obviously we won't be short on gore and moments that are hard on the eyes! Hooray!
Once again I have to resist saying to myself "why would you read from the book like that ya big dummy" because the ultimate answer is always "because you don't have a movie otherwise"
Evil Dead is as much about style as it is about comedy so I don't mind style + horror to mix things up. Rise fucking rocked and had so many creative shots. Those kids got fucked up too so we need more movies that take massive swings like that.
Evil Dead Rise was great. If this continues in that vein I’m here for it.
