Nadine Dorries defects to Reform UK, appears on BBC panel
Former Conservative minister Nadine Dorries told the Daily Mail she has joined Reform UK and declared the Conservative Party "dead." She appeared on a BBC panel, where she reiterated that view and defended her decision to switch to Reform UK. The defection gives Reform UK a former minister's profile and highlights fractures on the right ahead of upcoming local and national elections.
Laura Kuenssberg, "Lots of people think that Nigel Farage's promotion of Brexit means the economy has taken a hit" Nadine Dorries, "It hasn't, they haven't proved that" Reform UK, the head in the sand party 🤷♂️
When is our media going to stop platforming balance at the expense of observable facts?
Can't watch. Stupidity at this level raises my blood pressure.
Lots of people includes all economists
Why the fuck are the BBC still platforming this irrelevant, dozy old witch?
BBC may as well have the MOTD panel do political analysis and save a few quid. These shows are a joke
Is it Nadine's assertion then, that the economy has been going great guns because of Brexit, or that the government she was part of, ballsed it up?
Imagine being hit in the head by a horse as hard as nadine must have been
It's not 'what lot's of people think'....it's the truth!
If Mad Nads is your go-to for a politics show, you’ve already lost. The BBC has become a shitshow for politics. The lack of talent and biased reporting has become unbearable. Kill the licence fee.
Nadine Dorries is the “Alternative Facts” spokesperson for Reform.
"lots of people think" = "anyone with the remotest grasp of arithmetic."
Not head in the sand, just bloody liars!
Amazes me how the left always seems to have to prove the economy has taken a hit, while the right doesn't have to prove a benefit ... [No one says "So Nadine, how has it benefited?"] ... while at the same time arguing "Brexit wasn't done right"! According to Reform, two wrongs do make a right.
Is she actually claiming that maths hasn't been proven? 🤦
Nadine Dorries the most intelligent person on planet earth 😂😂🤡
BBC lead with a ‘Starmer Out’ story everyday. They’re not reporting news, they’re trying to make it. John McAndrew, ex GB News having a real influence there.
No push back at all. But to be honest BBC this is supposed to be your flagship political program yet you allow the washed up (probably drunk) disgraces ex tory and Boris Johnson cheerleader, Nadine Dorries on the program, for what? her insights into what?
Fancy asking Nadine Dorries about the economy. Might as well ask a teetotaller about gin. Now there’s something Dorries is likely to know about.
"Lots of people think"? It's verifiable fact 🙄 Why do we keep indulging fantasists by pretending facts are up for debate?
We've had 10 years of proof. Arseholes never talk about the benefits anymore cos there hasn't been any. Wish the media would actually tackle it.
From the very first day, the list of catastrophic Brexit destructiveness has been, and still is, exponentially appalling! Anyone who claims different is either a liar or ignorantly blinkered! 🇬🇧🤝🇪🇺✊
Why the fuck is she interviewing the waste of space that is daft Dorries? She’s only gone across to Deform because she didn’t get the seat in the Lords she wanted off her beloved vile Johnson!
It's all part of the grift. Keep BSing everybody for as long as possible to earn the moolah !!! The never ending conjob.
Thick as mince talking to biased kunesberg Glad I don’t watch this crap
That's demonstrably untrue. Just a hunch, but I suspect Kuennsberg didn't try to demonstrate it.
Brexit was a righty giant failure Labour was handed a giant pile of crap for an economy The austerity of the right was destroying the NHS The money elites always seem to do well under righty governments Wonder why
Dorries is in La-La land ffs!
If Nadine Dorries says something, I believe the opposite until proven otherwise.
The proof is that most people are skint.
Nadine Dorries – who helped crash the economy, party through lockdown, and run the NHS into the ground – now says "people trust Farage to deliver." The clowns are running the circus. 🎭 #bbclaurak
Why do the BBC they keep dragging out these has-beens, actually has-beens is generous, 'never-weres' is more appropriate. Singularly useless in power and yet deemed to have some wisdom on current events. FFS.
You could walk through Nadine's deepest thoughts and not get your feet wet. Start interviewing actual economists and political scientists rather than these 'Look at me!' balloons.
Any port in a storm for her, she’s a real grifter so suits Refrom to a tee.
Anyone who trusts Farage needs some psychological intervention.
I’d be seriously doubtful of Nadine even running a bath..
What exactly has Farage delivered?
If all the ignorant racists who voted for Farage think they will still have an NHS in ten years.. tell them they’re dreaming..here in Australia we almost let the right wing party destroy our wonderful health system..
She sounds just like the people in Trump’s administration! 😳
Don’t let this happen - he’s a Trump and trust me we feel helpless over here - it’s terrifying to live here right now Heed our warning
Government in waiting, now that really is a joke.
Deliver what exactly? A country where the most vulnerable are targeted and abandoned, where no-one will access healthcare unless they're rich, where people will be frightened to leave their homes for fear of the abuse they'll be subject to? I wouldn't trust Farage to sell me a packet of fags.
Tell the truth Righty will deliver private hospitals Private insurance Ambulances that cost thousands to get to the hospital Reduced home care for seniors More money to have a baby if your not insured Deductibles before a ant professional will even see you Righty supporters will own them
I have know idea WTAF the BBC were thinking by putting her on -as Culture Secretary she threatened the BBC by freezing the licence fee, and wanted to privatise C4 because of political opposition to their output; was denied a peerage; (with there's more)
Was she sober 🤣😱? Labour have delivered much of their manifesto already and progressing much more. Yet people complain because the press misleads people.
She's the woman keeping the Gin industry going #NadineDorries #BBCLaurak
They're apparently not watching the $hit $how in the good ole USofA
So why didn't she joing with farage right from the start? Could it be self-interest perhaps?
Inviting on Nadine Dorries, who did not make a single spoken contribution in the House of Commons for over 13 months before her resignation in August 2023, is an insult to viewers. If she didn't take her job seriously, why should she be given a platform to opine about those who do? #bbclaurak
Does the BBC think that anyone gives a rats arse what Dorries thinks or says? Seriously??
An anti Labour panel again this week there’s a surprise !😳
You could also say that anyone still watching Kuenssberg is asking to have their intelligence insulted...
Exactly. Bet she also mentioned that hideous sack of lying custard a few times; that's an insult, too. NO ONE wants to even be reminded of them.
Dumb as a pile of bricks, likes to frequent the many cheap bars in Parliament, and a love-struck Johnson groupie.
Harsh. As the staunchest defender of a PM who was clearly due for the nacker's yard, she is the perfect guest.
She's a total fucking idiot. Inviting her to a cake sale is an insult to scones.
Because Laura K is a sycophantic Tory rat why is she still at the BBC and not GBNews
Just wait until the GE. She will be running for Reform just to confirm the 2019-24 Tory/Reform coalition.
