i encountered an "easter" "egg" by not doing a barrel roll during the barrel roll part of the mandatory 20 minute long tutorial and it made peppy say "cmon fox, 'do a barrel roll'!" in an attempt at a similar cadence to the original and it pissed me off for the remainder of the tutorial

So much happened that I didn't fully dive into this: The fact that Velan is developing Star Fox is great news. It could mean Nintendo has another reliable studio to partner with for their IPs. Saw speculation that Next Level was making it. Since they're not, their next game should be fairly close.

I do think it's a strange choice to have the Star Fox and OoT remake back to back, but I can't get too mad about N64 remakes, because if there's any generation that needs a complete overhaul it's that one.

also im kinda not too hot on the visiblity in the demo. Meteos was a little too dark. i still played fine but its noticably harder to see things compared to 64's Meteos
