Fifteen charged in Minnesota immigration enforcement case
Federal prosecutors in Minneapolis charged 15 people with conspiracy to impede or injure federal officers during a recent Minnesota immigration enforcement operation. The U.S. Attorney's Office says the counts include related charges tied to efforts to "violently oppose" immigration law enforcement and identifies defendants as members of two Minneapolis-based "antifa" groups. Authorities said arrests and home searches took place in the area this week as part of the investigation. The case matters because it signals a federal push to criminally target organized resistance to ICE operations and could reshape how protests and community monitoring of enforcement are handled.
Q: Here in Minnesota, people still have questions as to why there isn't any prosecution or charges filed against the officers who killed Renee Good and Alex Pretti ROSEN: Those investigations are ongoing. We're not going to get into the details.
It's been 7 fucking months, and the murders were on camera from multiple angles. DOJ is a state murderer protection racket.
You have videos, eyewitnesses & the names of the killers. What more investigating could you possibly need to do?
There won’t be any federal charges brought against the officers who shot Renee Good or Alex Pretti. Trump is pardoning criminals, appointing criminals to top jobs and taking bribes from criminals. This is a lawless administration. Dems have to step up and charge these criminals
Translation: We’re going to deflect until the public forgets about it! 🤬
He's sounds like a dick. So nothing, in other words.
Code for “we’re not doing anything but hoping Minnesotans will forget.”
Turn the tables on these dumb mofos. Turn their dumb antifa presser into demanding accountability for shooting/executing MN citizens.
Ya they’ll be ongoing until this regime is toppled. They have no intent on prosecuting the murderers. At all.
The investigation is very simple. We watched it happen.
It’s on the “who bombed the Iranian girls school” timeline.
They have concepts of an investigation. It’s on the tariff shelf, behind the healthcare plan next to the unredacted Epstein files
So they go after people’s free speech and slow walk the murders of 2 American citizens?
We will not be intimidated
I live in a very Jewish part of Minneapolis and my neighbors are appalled at this guy’s performative kippeh wearing
This is what fascism looks like cbwrong.blogspot.com/2026/06/the-...
Replace the word 'investigations' with 'cover-ups' and you have an accurate representation of what is going on.
As always, there's a sleight of hand w/Maggie Haberman's work. Here, there's almost no discussion of the way Greg Bovino had been inciting violence, often by having CBP assault protestors, almost certainly on Stephen Miller's orders. Just the detail he was removed. www.nytimes.com/2026/06/15/u...
Here's an example of the import of this. Bovino's goons were driving around Twin Cities (and before that Chicago, and before that LA) initiating violence against protestors. In this case, Paul Johnson, they hospitalized him and kept him incommunicado. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
If someone’s removal gets covered but the conduct that led to it barely gets discussed, people are left debating the consequence instead of the cause.
Astonishing that Vance wanted to put troops on the streets. If he takes the Presidency, it’s going to get worse. Maybe much worse.
The drip drip reveal of the texture of Trump’s excrement is EXHAUSTING. Eff Haberman and Swan.
It’s the passive voice of limiting responsibility and accountability. Bovino “was removed”—not fired, no note of who took that action and why, as he was reassigned like Noem, to a lower profile role. Even the terms used by Habberman reflect the administration’s cadence using “posture”.
Her ties to the Trump's and Kushner's make it impossible for me to taker seriously. Now she's selling her book.
Loved your very apt description of Maggie Haberman: not a journalist, a narrator.
Maggie Haberman should crawl back under her MAGA rock for another 4 yrs. She’s done enough damage. bsky.app/profile/kris...
Well, she is unreliable, but also more reliable than some. Bovino was just a worker who was given no oversight & acted illegally. He should be held accountable and there should def be names in that paragraph. There is so much confirmation, including what we saw w/ our own eyes.
Minnesota US Attorney Dan Rosen having a news conference at 11 a.m. to announced charges against ”antifa.” Probably explains the reports of FBI in area & legal observers being picked up & homes searched.
I guess they got indictments. Grand jury transcripts need to be released immediately to the defendants.
Let’s hope someone asks again about the investigations for Alex and Renee.. Still waiting for my check for protesting..
Dan feeling himself a bit after the Boelter plea gave him a chance to give a press conference that didn’t involve explaining why federal agents were murdering local citizens
It is going to ne antifa summer to prime the public for the unconstitutional suppression of freedom in the fall. Trump wants to create justifications for interfering with the elections in November. protectthevote.net
So the volunteer legal observers are getting rounded up vs just killing them in the street?
I have some fear of a Prairieland situation, but we'll see.
No such animal. That said, there are millions of us that are against fascism.
They're ramping up attacks on resistance, protests, observers, voter registration, dem leaders, basically anyone they can call a "group" that isn't right wing or is a vocal dem. Minnesota, Ohio, Chicago, California, Georgia. I hope all their cases go down in flames.
My dad was a WWII bombardier. He could have shown them some real Antifa. RIP, Dad.
“THEY’RE ANTIFA!” “Do you know what Antifa means?” “YES, IT MEANS THEY ARE FASCISTS WHO NEED TO GO TO JAIL!!” “Um, no. Try again….”
Time to impeach this coward.
Today, the US Attorney's Office in Minneapolis and Homeland Security Investigations announced "Antifa" charges against accused anti-ICE protesters. In short, after ICE murdered people in the streets, they want to pretend that those who stood up to ICE represent the real threat to the public. 🧵⬇️
The goal of the "Antifa" charges is to terrorize people out of standing up for each other when federal agents descend on a community to do violence to it. We must stand by one another. The 15 people charged are alleged to be participants in Black Cat Workers Collective and Direct Action Minnesota.
Here’s a photo to help the Minneapolis US Attorney’s Office identify members of Antifa.
Again and again we must point out that "Antifa" is a GOOD thing. It means we are openly opposed to fascists and pro-democracy.
The way people debase themselves. These people know there is no such "organization". They are standing in front of a nation saying they are charging a non existent entity with a straight face. Incredible.
The Trump regime uses the DARVO technique to manipulate the facts and avoid accountability.
These charges are beyond belief. ANTIFA,REALLY.
They can pretend all they want; the real danger is them murdering more people, and there being no constitutional recourse against that.
You solidify the fact that you're a criminal administration when you make it a crime to be ant-fascist, anti-racist, anti-plutocrat, anti-pedophile, anti-police brutality and anti-corruption, but not a crime for the government to be a massive racketeering syndicate.
Antifa stands for anti-fascism. Antifa is a political belief, not an organization. It's like how Nazis still exists within institutions and gangs despite the original Nazi party being disbanded for over 80 years.
He wore his yamaka while spewing bullshit? What God does he worship, Satanyahu?
what is that fund trump set up for people prosecuted by the government?
Feds raided the homes of rapid responders in Minnesota today on a flimsy pretext of conspiracy obstruction. Per Vitalist, they’ll characterize those arrested as being members of “antifa.”
This is why rightwing grifters are going crazy boasting about “infiltrating” mutual aid and protest chats: The feds are using being in chats to participate in 100% legal activity (they didn’t conspire to obstruct, only collaborated to observe) as pretext for terrorism charges.
So... See, we have this aunt named Fatima, and we always refer to her as "Auntie Fa." Should she lawyer up?
Charges are being filed against multiple people “for conspiracy to impede or injure federal officers,” and for efforts to allegedly “violently oppose immigration law enforcement,” according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Minnesota. More details to come... www.mprnews.org/story/2026/0...
We've heard reports all morning of anti-ICE observers being arrested or searched around Minneapolis and St. Paul. A legal group says about 15 detained. I'll be covering a first court appearance in St. Paul early this afternoon. There have also been calls for protest.
But not the officers who murdered Two innocent civilians. Got it.
They will be tossed. Blanche and his 3rd rate lawyers don't have good records when the case goes to trial.
Good thing they didn't trash our Capitol, beat officers with flags and poles, and threaten our VP and members of Congress.
DOJ's indictment today of anti-ICE protestors in Minnesota suggests that "opposing the authority of the United States government" is illegal www.startribune.com/live-federal...
Well in certain circumstances it's perfectly legal.
Read it yourself, thanks to @mattdelong.bsky.social for posting the link www.documentcloud.org/documents/28...
the public servants elected to office who know this is wrong and are not speaking up are part of the problem
“In the case of the Insurrection Act, Vice President JD Vance pushed to invoke it just days after federal agents shot and killed Alex Pretti, a Minnesota critical care nurse who was protesting the administration’s immigration policies.”
“Mr. Vance got to the point. They needed to invoke the Insurrection Act, swiftly, to crush the unrest in Minnesota. It would be painful in the short term, he said, but the message it would send…”
The admin also realized they were losing the culture war as the world observed them killing citizens who weren't even protesting to say nothing of rioting; which ultimately was why they couldn't push Insurrection Act since it so obviously wasn't justified. And kinda like Iran, MN won.
Vance is the biggest threat. He has a polished demeanor but would do almost anything to advance his agenda.
This clarifies that Vance is a big a fascist as any of them.
wtf MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Trump administration charges 15 people it says impeded agents during Minnesota immigration enforcement surge.
A reminder that the guy announcing these charges, MN U.S. Attorney Daniel Rosen, spurred mass resignations in his office in January after telling prosecutors to “say nothing” to law enforcement or media about the FBI’s probe into Renee Good's murder by ICE. www.startribune.com/joe-thompson...
But not the masked ice agents who assaulted, killed, kidnapped, damaged property.
There you have it. The Dictator doing dictator bullshit.
The fascists continuing their effort to suppress the constitutional right to protest.
In today’s charges of the Minnesota 15, the DOJ is trying to cast ICE Watch as a form of stalking. The big offense is neighbors telling neighbors about where they saw ICE in the neighborhood. And filming ICE’s illegal assaults, kidnappings, and breaking and entering.
It feels too obvious to even say out loud, but this is DARVO. The federal government accuses Minnesotans of stalking while they were the ones acting violently toward our neighbors. We were just the witnesses. And they want to punish us for bearing witness.
Protecting neighbors and your community and documenting abuses is, per T’s federal justice department, a crime. They’d have arrested the Resistance in WWII, and anyone who hid Jews.
