Pete Hegseth pushes top general out of the Pentagon

One of America's most-admired general officers, CD Donahue, is the latest Army leader to be forced out at the Pentagon. Hegseth was RIFed as an O4 after his supervisors started noticing a serious substance abuse problem. Every time he encounters an officer who makes him feel inferior, he fires him.

Hegseth drives out another highly regarded general: "A West Point graduate and a career special operations commander, Donahue commanded Delta Force units in Iraq and Afghanistan before leading the 82nd Airborne division from July 2020 to March 2022." Via NBC

General Donahue is the kind of warfighter Non-Airborne Ranger Pete Hegseth wishes he could have been. This move is pathetic, dangerous, and hurts our national security. Hegseth isn’t qualified to lace Donahue's boots, let alone fire him.
