A magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck 11 kilometers north of Redwood Valley, California at 8:10:40 AM PDT on June 24, 2026, the U.S. Geological Survey lists the event at a depth of 8.1 kilometers. The USGS released preliminary shake maps and ShakeAlert notifications; residents in nearby Ukiah and as far south as Modesto and parts of the Bay Area reported feeling the jolt. A 5.6 at shallow depth can produce strong local ground motion, risk nonstructural and localized structural damage, and generate aftershocks, so Mendocino County authorities and residents should monitor updates.

Damn…I think there was a 5+ in California today and another 5+ in Japan. It’s like the whole earth is shaking. I’ve been in a 7…7.5 is major! I am an atheist, but still my prayers go out to them

2/ USGS has something called significant earthquakes for rare or large earthquakes. There are currently 19 listed in the past 30 days. Three of those just happened, they're always highlighted in red among the normies. Looking at the data and see two of the 19 are meteorite SONIC BOOMS! 😃

The U.S. Geological Survey said the earthquake’s epicenter was west of the community of Moron, located along the country’s Caribbean coast, about 104 miles west of Caracas. The quake had a depth of 8 miles.
