Matthew Guy denies Moira Deeming assault allegation

Former Victorian Liberal leader Matthew Guy denies MP Moira Deeming's claim that he put her in a headlock at a community event. Security camera footage of the interaction shows Mr Guy placing his hand on Ms Deeming's back while they spoke, not a headlock. Victoria Police have opened an investigation into the allegation and have the footage as part of their inquiries. Mr Guy says he is considering legal advice to sue his party room colleague for defamation over the claim.
