Carney to launch fundraising campaign for 24 Sussex restoration
www.cbc.ca/news/politic... I really don't think about [24 Sussex] at all” said Poilievre “When I go around this country& I meet so many people who can't afford a place to live..I just think the last thing on our minds should be 24 Sussex Dr” Hey Skippy-where do YOU live & who’s paying 4 it? #NeverPP
I got really pissed off when he said that. He loves to twist things around. Yes, l 24 Sussex Drive is important. It's where the leader of our Country is supposed to be living for Christ sake.🤬 Go to hell PP
Make little Pee Pee pay for his residence. What a fvcking little moocher. Useless little pecker head.
If he was concerned about where and how is normal folk live, he would direct his party to support any number of bills that would make a difference for us. He does not cause he's living in a lovely place on our dime. Hypocrisy, thine name is Pierre.
The problem with 24 Sussex Dr exists because it was the last thing on the mind of too many PMs. They thought the public would act as short-sighted and sulky as Poilievre is now. Canada is an advanced economy and a proud nation. The PM's official residence shouldn't be a national embarrassment.
This is our heritage. It should be protected.
We should not be housing the leader of the opposition. I don’t care what party, they can pay for their own housing
Let’s save, restore and protect our wonderful collective symbols of a united Canada. A nation for all. 🇨🇦💪🇨🇦
Only 24 hours remaining if there's anyone out there who hasn't written a "here's what they should do about 24 Sussex" take.
No matter the government's decision, people will piss and moan in bad faith or just to amuse themselves. Which is how the property reached this level of neglect. Yet somehow, Stornaway gets zhuzhed up every time a new hoser arrives.
If you’re already in line: remain in line!
Raising the political stakes for Alberta’s separation vote this fall, Prime Minister Mark Carney insisted Thursday that the referendum is “real” and could derail national efforts to position Canada as a reliable partner in an uncertain world.
Carney drew on his experience as the central banker in the United Kingdom through its chaotic withdrawal from the European Union, stressing that consequences of an independence vote can ricochet over several years.
So why the fuck did you let it gain steam, and acquiesce to Smith?
