Searchlight Pictures released the first trailer and poster for Behemoth!, Tony Gilroy’s new drama about a Los Angeles family of musicians. Pedro Pascal plays Alex Serian, a classically trained cellist who returns home after 20 years on the road, and Pascal told Vanity Fair the film is “a love letter to music” and to cinema. The cast also includes Olivia Wilde, Eva Victor, Alexa Swinton, Kaya Ralls, Erik Griffin, JoBeth Williams, Margarita Levieva, Hank Azaria and Will Arnett. Gilroy wrote and directed Behemoth! and produced it with John Gilroy and Sanne Wohlenberg; his prior directorial credits include Michael Clayton and The Bourne Legacy. David Harbour was originally set to star but dropped out in January, with Variety reporting he left to rest after finishing Stranger Things. A report linked to the trailer says Searchlight dated the film for December 4, 2026, positioning it in awards season.
