The Morning Show to end with Season 5 in 2027

Apple has confirmed that The Morning Show will conclude with a fifth and final season, which the company says will premiere in 2027. The drama, starring and executive produced by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, debuted with Apple TV+ on November 1, 2019, and became one of the service’s flagship original series. Across its first four seasons the series has tackled workplace misconduct, media ethics, the COVID-19 pandemic, corporate mergers, deepfakes and misinformation, and earned multiple Emmy, Screen Actors Guild, and Critics Choice nominations. Billy Crudup has won two Primetime Emmy Awards for his role as network executive Cory Ellison. The fourth season premiered in late 2025 and continued the UBA-NBN merger storyline; Apple’s historical pattern of autumn launches makes a fall 2027 debut the most likely window for the final season. Apple also announced new cast additions for season five, including Jeff Daniels and Jesse Williams. The fifth season will close one of Apple TV+’s longest running original series from its 2019 launch slate.
