In 2018, a friend invited me to watch Gundam with him. I instantly fell it love and it sparked my obsession for giant robots. 8 years later, I find myself participating in the making of MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM RG XARX-ZERO as a prop designer, matte painter and special effect artist!

Gundam Zero is also not the 0 Gundam, which is not The O from Gundam. And even though it's not a prequel to 00 it is like the sequel, but that's a coincidence. This show's called XARX (pronounced Alex), which is not the Gundam Alex from 0080. Those 0s are also unrelated to this Zero.

Based on the trailer, kinda mixed on the new Gundam. Don't love the design honestly. Feels way too safe, even the updated form feels like a mishmash of "Cool Robot OC" concepts. Aliens also just don't really do much for me in Gundam. As always though, I'm curious to see what it tries to do.
