Detroit’s Hao-Yu Lee homered off Michael Wacha with a 402-foot solo shot in the bottom of the fourth, giving the Tigers a 2-1 lead. Statcast recorded a 102.7 mph exit velocity and a 39-degree launch angle on the blow, and the pitch from Wacha was a 79.4 mph changeup. The homer was Lee’s sixth of the season and came during a game the Tigers won 2-1 over the Kansas City Royals. Lee also had two hits that day and extended his hitting streak to nine games, driving in the decisive run.
