AEW Redemption results, Andrade wins National Title; Willow wins Women's World; Omega retains
#AndNEW!!! Andrade El Ídolo is your NEW National Champion! Watch #AEWRedemption LIVE on HBO Max PPV!
SO delighted to see this outcome!!! Mark Davis has done a phenomenal job as a breakout singles star. But so has Andrade! Man has been on an absolute tear in this second run, and you can tell he's giving everything he has to it. This is SO well deserved!!! I'm so happy for him. Congrats Andrade!
Okay but how you know?
Why is this the funniest graphic they've ever made
Well deserved! #aewfanhub #aew #wrestlesky #prowrestling
NOW YOU KNOW! #AEW #AEWRedempton #MyAEW
I love how Andrade did one promo on a yacht and that became his whole aesthetic. I hope he starts calling himself El Capitan and names his boat the S.S. How You Know? 😅
The most yacht rock champ ever
The name on the boat!! 🤣💀
Me when people say AEW Redemption was a bad show
AEW is a victim of their own success at producing insane PPVs. This was a good PPV, so people (most are not AEW fans) are calling it a bad PPV compared to AEW ppvs. The PPV is still better than any wwe, roh or tna ppv this year. Maybe next year they should have the Owen finals during redemption?
I thought it was great. Three title changes. Great matches
My only wish is that they let Shida have a real title run and they kept the Ospreay turn for after All-In. The ideas are great, but I feel like they could've spent more time building towards it.
It was not as "hot" as Forbidden Door, but that's fine! Some pvps are meant to be small. Some great things came out of it. Also, the same people complaining about Redemption being bad are gonna watch the next pvp, complain, and repeat the cycle.
It wasn't great. Calling it bad is laughable when all of wwe 2025 exists.
I seen bad WWE, WCW and TNA PPVs in my life. Redemption was nowhere near as bad as those and to the "Worse AEW PPV ever" in Worlds End 2023 where the vibes were overall BAD. Redemption was a solid PPV. It was not a S Tier show. And if you're bitching about your fantasy booking? IS A YOU PROBLEM.
im so sick of people fantasy booking then acting like something is bad simply bc their own fantasy booking didn't come true
I thought it was an incredibly solid PPV, and I only had the smallest of nitpicks to give. Was it better than Forbidden Door, where I was shouting at my scream in passion for my favorite wrestlers? No. But did I absolutely enjoy the PPV? Yes! #AEW delivered AGAIN.
Not every match needs to be flip flopping, 1 million sweet chin musics, & blood. Not every ppv needs to be a 5 star Dave Melzer live from wrassle-a-doll and toddler mania. A mid tier ppv just needs to be entertaining and worth your money. And this ppv was entertaining and worth my money.
It’s a 10/10 dynamite and it’s a 7/10 PPV. Not their best work but not FED bad. We will forget all this after an amazing ALL In build.
I think the key differentiator is the vibes. They’ve had some shows where the vibes were just terrible and this show was not one of them. We don’t have to call it a phenomenal show just because it’s AEW but it obviously wasn’t a disaster. There can be a middle ground.
Man.... #AEWRedemption was an INCREDIBLE show. I don't know how AEW does it. Month after month, PPV after PPV. Every single time, they knock it out of the freaking park. Streak unbroken. Redemption was an A show. Absolute PERFECTION.
There was only one mid match, but everything else was fucking FIRE, so if anything, ending up with a cool down match, even unintentionally, is kinda nice. 😅
AEW is on a roll. They're the best wrestling company right now.
I was there and had an absolute blast!!
Love you, love the company, and while there were A+ matches on this show, all three tag matches weren't great. They drag it to a B for me.
I'm kind of sad I missed it I had a fun day with friends but I'm kind of sad I missed it
