Max Muncy crushed a 430-foot, go-ahead solo homer off Luis Castillo in the bottom of the fifth, giving the Dodgers a 5-4 lead over the Mariners. The blast registered a 109.9 mph exit velocity and a 28-degree launch angle and was recorded as Muncy’s 21st homer of the season. That long fly also tied Eric Karros for the most regular-season home runs hit at Dodger Stadium, 130. The at-bat came after Muncy had been 0-for-15 with 10 strikeouts against Castillo before connecting on the no-doubter. Video of the play was posted by MLB and the Dodgers as the defining moment of the inning.
