Dolly Parton’s longtime manager filed a lawsuit seeking a temporary restraining order against the singer’s nephew and former head of security, accusing him of intimidation, extortion and violent threats. Publications including TMZ and People report the complaint quotes the accused saying "I'm a killer" and alleges efforts to extort money from Parton’s estate. The filing and related coverage come less than a month after Parton died at age 80, when her estate and legacy arrangements began receiving public scrutiny. Might add this to my ‘just in case playlist’ on 29/08/26 I djayed at a Summer Fayre. 2 tunes in a man (it’s always a man) approached the dj area to ask if I had any Dolly Parton. She died 2 days earlier. He’s both astounded & annoyed that I said I didn’t have any DP tunes. I never play her music 1/2
