Blue Sky Art Show, community photography and mixed media
The Blue Sky Art Show featured an NFT titled 'Siamese Cat Dark in the Moon', a Portuguese sunset photograph, and a Santo Domingo street photo in its weekly community exhibit. The artist sold the NFT for $10; the piece imagines a Siamese cat that becomes a blue werecat after a werewolf bite, transforming at midnight. The Portuguese photograph emphasizes vivid orange dusk and color-focused composition, while the Santo Domingo image documents everyday street life in the Dominican Republic. The show mixes low-cost NFT art, travel photography, and illustration to showcase diverse global creators and accessible entry points into mixed-media work.
This is the extremely rare Aardvark Moon which strikes me as appropriate for today's #BlueSkyArtShow #Odd I will likely not ever see a moon like this again! #Photography #EastCoastKin
Trivia for all: Aardvark is a Dutch word for earth pig. Now back to your regularly scheduled program. You're welcome.
My daughter thinks it looks like the flag of Cypress.
Awesome shot, Dave! That is really cool.
And his prey, just out of reach. Hey Ant. Ant, I know you're in there. 🚬😎
At first I was asking what the heck an aardvark moon was .. then I got it. Then I had the serious question .. what is causing it ... I can't see anything that would/is blocking those portions of the moon? I probably should be able to figure it out but I am currently dumbfounded.
Not The Great Pumpkin rising ?
This reminds me of all the things beating up on the moon in The Tick comics.
Can't fool me. That's a map of part of Canada and part of Alaska.
Once watched a bright sliver of the Moon rise out of the ocean like a billowing foresail of a sloop mounting the horizon. I may have been a little high at the time, b/ it was stunning nonetheless.
