Yeah that was a gorgeous shot. I loved how many sorts of shots like that we go, like the scene where they’re trying to get Taumoeba out of the planet’s atmosphere and they just give that beautiful outside shot of the green planet and ship and Grace, and then shift to Petrovascope vision.

I think the thing that's really grabbed me about Project Hail Mary, even after enjoying the book, is the sheer depth of the care and attention they put into every little bit of the movie. It's like OFMD, you keep finding more little things that make you go :o And at the heart of it, it's about love

I love them both for the same fundamental reasons and that's so wonderful to me (Also I very much read Grace as aroace and Rocky as his platonic soulmate, so it also is a queer story to me, too)
