FFVII Ever Crisis will add Before Crisis story before end-of-service

so like, without a doubt the most embarrassing fumble with Ever Crisis was the Character Stories they were the best new story content in the game, but they only ended up adding 4 in 3 years, despite the UI suggesting multiple episodes per character

It saddens me that Before Crisis's story is being added right before Ever Crisis's EOS, it deserves more time to be experienced. The original Before Crisis's keitai servers lasted for 14 years, with chapters being released nearly monthly for three years. The preservation effort continues... (1/2)

Ever Crisis getting EOS'd is fucking crazy to me because they introduced Glen from EC into the Remake trilogy, then never resolved his storyline in EC. This is like introducing a Kingdom Hearts character in a gacha game, canceling the gacha game, then putting them in KH4-- WAIT

they covered * the game that's on every platform * a game that got a remake like 2 years later * some shit no one cared about And NONE of the games that didn't come out internationally. And now they're dumping part of before crisis at the last second that I assume is balanced for endgame players

Squeenix just announced that theyre shutting down Ever Crisis Hilarious and totally expected. But what was UNEXPECTED was that they followed that up by also announcing theyre adding Before Crisis to it. So. Thats stupid.

we had the events of nearly all ff7 media including the lost media java game "before crisis" all in one game! and it's dead. to be fair it was a f2p mobile game with horrid monetisation practices limiting your play & progression to a glacial pace unless you regularly forked over money for it.

Gotta love how quintessentially Square Enix it is to be like "yeah here you go guys we made Before Crisis playable in Ever Crisis for you like we promised :)" only to immediately make it lost media again by killing Ever Crisis

So let me get this straight: we’ve waited over five years since hearing Ever Crisis’s announcement to play Before Crisis, and we get less than 3 months to play it before it becomes lost media for a second time. Some people have waited literally 15 years to play this game, and this is all they get?

Oh this SUCKS because this is the ONLY way to play the Before Crisis content, due to the old game being locked on old phones from the early 00s and I don't even know if we even have the full game dumped either.
