So the leak was correct! Amazing. Congratulations to the winners, and shame to the IMU that didn't show any coherence with their own actions in 2022.

I just think it would be more newsworthy and a more acceptable excuse for sending me an email about it if the Fields medal were awarded to not-mathematicians for once For example when will my achievements in estimating the exact size of leftover container needed for these leftovers be recognized
Math has a lot of crimes to answer for. If it weren't for math we wouldn't have robot dogs or AI girlfriends or capitalism. Meanwhile my skill at estimating the volume of this leftover chili has only saved lives
No one is there to celebrate when I eyeball the volume of leftover tomato sauce perfectly. But I know, and I hold those victories close to my heart.
