Heated Rivalry season 2 began filming in Toronto and has added Emily Hampshire, Edvin Ryding, Robert Naylor, Sabrina Jalees and Priyanka to its cast, Deadline reported; earlier casting announcements also named Justice Smith and Charlie Gillespie. Emily Hampshire will play Vanessa, a friend-of character who writes reviews of sex toys on her blog. Edvin Ryding is cast as Luca Haas, a rookie who has a crush on Ilya. Robert Naylor will portray Wyatt Hayes, a player for the Ottawa Centaurs. Sabrina Jalees will play Farah Jalali, Shane and Ilya’s agent, and Priyanka will play Tarek, another friend-of character. Showrunner Jacob Tierney is adapting more material from the Game Changers books, shifting setting details from a cottage to Harris’s family apple orchard. The season is slated to premiere in spring 2027 and Deadline confirmed it will not revisit a holiday-season timeline.
