Team USA routed Hungary 108-56 in the FIBA World Cup quarterfinals to reach the semifinals. Napheesa Collier led the Americans with 19 points, going 9-for-13 from the field, and also had six rebounds and a block. Every American scored and seven players hit at least one three, with Caitlin Clark and Chelsea Gray combining for 15 assists. Head coach Cheryl Reeve Lawson confirmed the starting five of Chelsea Gray, Jackie Young, Kahleah Copper, Napheesa Collier, and Breanna Stewart would open the game in Berlin Arena. Clark remained a reserve; she leads the team in assists and averages 21.9 minutes per game off the bench. Team USA will play in the semifinals on Saturday.
