Giants receiver Malik Nabers left Monday Night Football after appearing to injure his upper right arm while contesting a catch against Rams cornerback Trent McDuffie, then returned to the game after a short absence. NBC Sports reported Nabers immediately put his left hand over the area between his bicep and shoulder and was in considerable pain as trainers attended him. The team listed Nabers questionable to return with a shoulder injury before he re-entered the contest, per game status updates. Nabers had returned to action in Week 1 after a torn ACL last September and recorded six catches for 69 yards against the Cowboys; he had one catch for one yard against the Rams before departing. The immediate consequence was minimal lost playing time as Nabers came back to play later in the same game; the Giants will still monitor the shoulder and update his status after the game.
