Recently rewatching Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy and it's good to be reminded of some point in time before these characters were trying to be sanitized by Disney. How can you miss more of the point than this?

Did we all forget literally every Spider-Man story ever? How “it fucking sucks being a hero sometimes, and it’s often completely thankless work, but somebody has to do it” is the entire fucking point?

They are litterally afraid at the idea to give Spider-man to new writters ever since Spencer.

(Actually, a Spider-Man who wasn't around to see the burglar run past would be interesting, what does Spider-Man look like if he's still got a motive of Uncle Ben dying but no personal guilt, instead "I could sort stuff like that out, I'm tough" and still has the superstar ego)

(It is so bizarre to me that the MCU had an offscreen origin story for him, and as a result it took 3 Spider-man movies and 3 Avengers movies to get him to a place where the character actually feels like Spider-man)

I never liked Tom Holland spider man. Something is wrong on how spider was written in the MCU Universe movies.

Tom Holland I just find a very limp onscreen presence. The Milquetoast Spider-Man.
